About NyaySetu Law
NyaySetu Law is an advocate discovery and booking platform built for Uttarakhand. We are a private technology platform — not a law firm. We help users find independent Bar Council-enrolled advocates for legal tasks like RTI filings, document procurement, cheque-bounce notices, consumer complaints, and quick text-based sessions.
Who we are
NyaySetu Law operates a directory and booking surface that connects users with independent advocates enrolled with their respective State Bar Councils. The platform handles discovery, scheduling, and payment; all legal advice and legal services are provided by the advocates themselves in their independent professional capacity. We were founded in March 2026 in Dehradun, Uttarakhand, with a focus on transparency, fair pricing, and accessible legal help for everyday Indians.
Registration and legitimacy
NyaySetu Law operates as a registered sole proprietorship under the Government of India's Udyam Registration scheme (Ministry of MSME). Our entity registration is publicly verifiable.

What we are not
NyaySetu Law is a private technology platform and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to the Government of India, the Ministry of Law and Justice, or the "Nyaya Setu" legal aid service operated by the Government of India. The Government of India's "Nyaya Setu" is a separate, free AI legal aid service launched in January 2026; NyaySetu Law is an independent private business and has no relationship with it.
NyaySetu Law is not a law firm and does not provide legal services, legal advice, or lawyer referral services. The platform lists independent Bar Council-enrolled advocates and facilitates discovery, booking, and payment between users and advocates. All legal advice and legal services are provided by the listed advocates in their independent professional capacity, and not by NyaySetu Law. NyaySetu Law does not direct, supervise, or guarantee the work of any advocate on the platform.
No attorney-client relationship is created between any user and NyaySetu Law. Communications via the platform (including chat, booking forms, and the Quick Ask flow) are governed by our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy and are not protected by attorney-client privilege.
